Better Coaching. Better Skills. Better Basketball.

Game Time Coaches
Lots of Experience

The coaching staff at Game Time provides better coaching, better skill development and better basketball. Our coaches are commited to providing kids with the two basketball essentials: Fundamentals and fun. But coaching is more than just that. "Although it is just a game, it has much to teach about life," Head Coach Kenya Wilkins says. Meet the coaches below...

Kenya Wilkins, President / Head Coach
A four-year starting point guard for the University of Oregon Ducks during the mid-1990s, Kenya still holds the UO's career assist and steals records. He was a John Wooden Player of the Year nominee, and as the floor general for the Ducks, Kenya helped take the team to the NCAA and NIT tournaments. Kenya later played professional basketball in Europe and South America before starting his coaching career. As the #1 assistant coach of California State University, Northridge, Kenya helped lead the Matadores to a third-place finish in the Big West Conference. In addition to coaching division one college basketball, Kenya has helped local high school athletes achieve their dreams of playing college basketball.

Greg Mellor
I am a 1998 graduate of Thurston High School. A three year letterman in football and baseball. My passion for basketball was inspired by players like AC Green and Gary Payton. I have been involved in youth coaching for 15 years. I also have played and coached in a semi pro football league (OFL). My son and I ventured to Game Time basketball in 2008. We saw it as an opportunity for him to advance his skills and join an elite training program. Since joining GTU I have been given the opportunity to teach many chilrdren in my ball handling after school classes (BHU) while coaching teams along the way. But the highlight of being a part of Game Time is all the friendships with students and other coaches that have been developed.
